I first began practicing yoga in 2004, in order to enhance my surfing and overall physical health. Immediately I recognized that adapting a regular practice into my life would have benefits that were not only physical, but mental, emotional and spiritual. I have been teaching yoga for two years now, and see yoga as a valuable tool which can allow people to let go of stresses and difficulties in life while creating an awareness of the beauty that is present in every experience. I have a deep appreciation for ambiance, and I love manipulating light and sound to create tempo and rhythm for the breath as a foundation to move into physical postures, coming together in their various sequences. I look at each class I teach as a new opportunity to create a powerful, challenging and simultaneously enjoyable experience for my students. It is my intention to guide you in being as present as possible through each breath you take during my class.
