Margaret, gratefully, found enormous healing benefits by practicing yoga 7 yrs ago. At the time, she was battling Stage IIIb Breast Cancer with aggressive chemotherapy. She feels very fortunate now to be able to pass on to others some of the numerous health benefits and life enhancing qualities of a yoga practice.
During her hatha yoga class, students are given the opportunity to experience connection to relaxing inner peace. By maintaining deep and fluid breathing, while performing core strengthening movements, students are able to tune into their innate ability to bring calm in times of challenge and stress. She hopes that every person may realize their own abundant source of peace within and know that they have the ability to extend that peace outward in every relationship and situation. Yoga truly brings a greater sense of well being to oneself and others.
Margaret’s trained for over 1000 hours with many master teachers such as Tim Miller, Shiva Rea, Hari Das, Roger Cole and Ana Costa and is so grateful to all the teachers who continue to hand down the many blessings of yoga. Margaret sees life as quite an adventure with many twists and turns. She’s found her way from being a Cornell trained Electrical Engineer to now learning the enormous potential of being a healer using Sat Nam Rasayan.
