I began taking yoga classes in San Francisco in the year 2000, and was hooked on the fluid, cyclical movements that the spirited style of Vinyasa Flow practice offered me. The space that it created inside my mind, body and soul blew me away, and I was unable to stop from there on my journey to a better understanding of myself, and all that which surrounds me through this cosmic dance. So, upon moving to New York in 2004 I became certified at the Laughing Lotus. The Laughing Lotus, and teachers Keith Borden, Jasmine Tarkeshi, and Dana Flynn gave me the creativity and endless open directions to take my practice as well as the inspiration to teach from the heart, mind and soul. Already having a lengthy background in Pilates and now integrating the two philosophies became my passion. It’s wide range of anatomical knowledge and alignment have completely broadened my horizons and continue to be inspired in ways that I could have never imagined. Growing every day in my journey of life, using my sweet, buttery, cyclical guide known as yoga.
“With greatness of heart, we can sustain a presence in the midst of life's suffering, in the midst of life's fleeting impermanence.”
—Jack Kornfield, "A Path With a Heart"
