Mary Cantonis
Mary Cantonis has been a RYT Certified Teacher since 2006, and has been an avid yoga practitioner for over a decade. Her passion for yoga began while living in Manhattan where she worked on the New York Stock Exchange as a stock broker. Mary found yoga to be a wonderful reprieve from the chaotic world of Wall Street and used it to help balance all aspects of her life. Mary left Manhattan in 2006 and moved home to Florida to have and raise her daughter- Charlotte (who is now, at the age of 5, also a LJYC practitioner!). Once back in Florida, Mary focused all her attention on yoga and became part owner of a local studio. Mary moved to La Jolla in June of 2011 and started teaching at LJYC shortly thereafter.
Mary’s initial teacher training was Ashtanga based, but she has also done workshops and additional training in Power Yoga. Mary is also excited to announce that she will be starting an advanced training in Hatha/Raja in the 2012 New Year.
Mary is passionate about her teaching and is grateful to be part of the LJYC community. She hopes to see you on your mat, in one of her classes soon!
