Erich Schiffman makes the experience of yoga accessible for all, going beyond the physical aspects of a yoga practice. Erich teaches a healing, opening style of yoga emphasizing creative sequencing, intuitive alignment, and moving into stillness while being guided from within. His teaching style is unique and clear, full of humor, freedom and spirit. He has been passionately involved in the practice for almost 40 years. He has been named one of the most innovative yoga teachers in the country by Yoga Journal and is the author of Yoga: Moving Into Stillness and numerous DVDs and CDs, including his Ocean and Wave DVD which our studios were named after.
He is known as the "teacher's teacher." In fact, Erich has also been LJYC's Founder, Jeanie Carlstead's teacher for over 22 years and has had a profound influence on her practice, teaching and life. This class is suitable for all levels.
