Wisdom Warriors is a practice class designed especially for dedicated practitioners over 50. It is not suitable for beginners. Desiree will lead this 2 hour practice class which includes standing poses, backbends, forward bends, hip openers, arm balances and inversions. If you have been practicing yoga for a while and long to connect with others who will help you stay healthy and fit, this is a wonderful opportunity for you to strengthen your body, mind and friendships. Desiree is dedicated to working in a strong therapeutic manner with this group of courageous people who want to play hard and stay safe.
About Desirée
Desirée Rumbaugh teaches from the experiences of more than two decades of practice. As a full-time teacher, Desirée travels the world offering workshops, which are innovative and transformative, challenging and compassionate. She has a well-earned reputation for deepening the most new to the most seasoned practices, through humor balanced with a quest for authenticity.
Her newest DVD’s entitled Yoga to the Rescue for Back Pain and Yoga to the Rescue for the Neck and Shoulders were released in January 2008 with wide acclaim. Desirée is also a contributor to various organizations and publications, including the Yoga Journal, where she was featured on the February 2008 cover.
