However we get there, Saturday, April 30th we will travel together to see the play "Let Me Down Easy" featuring Anna Deavere Smith presented by San Diego Repertory Theatre, La Jolla Playhouse, and Vantage Theatre. Creator and actress, Smith, is called "the most exciting individual in American Theatre" by Newsweek, Anna Deavere Smith is the winner of two Tony AwardŽ nominations, two Obie Awards, and a MacArthur "Genius" Fellowship. You may also have seen her on "The West Wing," "The Practice," or "Nurse Jackie." For the past eight years, Smith has interviewed hundreds of Americans to create a virtuosic and moving show about the power and vulnerability of the body, the price of health, and the resilience of the human spirit.
Our Founder, Jeanie Carlstead is on the pre-panel for Health and Spirituality which will discuss the power and vulnerability of the body, health and well-being, and the resilience of the human spirit.
